Tarun Tahiliani likes to supersize his shows, and this one was no different. As his elaborate vision for the season was sinking in, there was star power to put the metaphorical cherry on the already-stunning cake. Katrina Kaif and Aditya Roy Kapur walked the ramp for the veteran designer in Delhi for his spring/summer 2016.
Tahiliani’s collection was influenced by the desert tribes of Kutch. “I have always been inspired by the way the people of this region wrap themselves in big blankets, and this collection is my take on that,” said Tahiliani. Kaif wore an ivory pre-draped sari from the line. Working with the tribal theme, she sported a rare nosepin and signature white bangles typically worn by women of the region. “Tarun is a class apart from everybody. I am having a great time, the clothes are beautiful; but Aditya is the one killing it!” said the actor. Roy Kapur wore an understated off-white sherwani from the collection. “Katrina is always herself except when she’s playing a part in movie. I love that about her and that’s why she best represents the line,” added Tahiliani
