Bollywood’s new Queen, Deepika Padukone bowled us over with her performances last year in movies like Piku and Bajirao Mastani, so a Filmfare Award was quite on the cards already.

The actress, who took away the Best Actress Award at the 61st Britannia Filmfare Awards, was all emotional and read out an old letter from her father, which he had written to her years back, as her acceptance speech.
The letter read:
“If you love what you do nothing else matters, not even awards. Follow your heart and live your dream. You are our daughter and then an actress.”
She then went on to hug her father. Now isn’t that so sweet?
